One example of the paradox is when Olli's father addresses everyone "Genossen und Genossinnen". This is the German word for Commrad, a name used for fellow Communist members. The irony in his address is the wall has come down, therefore, communism in German ceases to exist. Also, Olli's father was not a die-hard member of the communist part.

right, yet he did belive in teh system and the "Genossen und Genossinnen" was used daily and really became a greeting.
